The show has included new effects for this year which are the mile-wide waving flag and a sunflower ring with crackling pistil shells alongside the 30 different colors and shapes will be put on display for a period of about 25 minutes. The official viewing points include, Gantry Plaza State Park in Queens, WNYC Transmitter Park in Brooklyn, and three points along First Ave. in Manhattan.
